Hi, can I ask anyone here if they have any suggestions on what I can prepare for my 3-year-old child who doesn’t really like a lot of foods? I always make breakfast and lunch for my firstborn yet he fails to finish anything I prepare every time. It makes me worry about his health and of course, I’d like to know how I can make him eat healthy foods too.

Hello Megan! I see you’re struggling with feeding your kid as well. I actually had the same problem with my two children – I think it is safe that most parents probably have had this problem. But I found a way to overcome this! I don’t know if it’ll work for your child but it worked with mine. Since they are older than your kid, I see to it that I make their breakfasts and lunches more fun and appealing in the eyes. They seem to like eating colorful foods. So I took advantage of that and became more creative in preparing their food. I put designs on them and include fruits and veggies that are really colorful.

Hello! I think Jenna’s suggestion is really good! Kids do like colorful things. For my food prep, I made sure that even the containers and plates are colorful as well. I even pick those with their favorite characters. This caught their attention fast. I even tell them made up stories about them while they eat their snacks. Before they knew it, I already distracted them enough to finish their food! Also, I took it from mothers out there who make characters using the food of the kids. I tried it with my children and I never had any problem feeding them again.
